Privacy Policy

The Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Association, Inc. (SWBMAI) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. For this reason, we describe the information we collect from you and how we use it.

Scope

This policy applies to SWBMAI specifically. It does not apply to any company, organization or website we link to. Please carefully review the privacy policy of said entities to see how they treat your personal information.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide us with. This would include things like name, address, email, phone number, etc…. And like most Webservers, we automatically collect web-client statistics (such as IP address, browser type, etc…) and website usage information. This information helps us learn how our visitors use the site, thus providing insight on how we might make it better.

We use a common technology commonly called “cookies”. Cookies are pieces of information sent to your browser and stored on your computer for record-keeping purposes. For example, they allow us to remember you from your last visit or count the number of time you’ve come back to visit us. They are certainly not as yummy as their baked counterpart… but they are quite helpful.

We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

How We Use Collected Information

We will not sell your information to anyone. Period. We may contact you for official SWBMAI business (eg. regarding membership). If you sign up for the mailing list, you will receive said mailings. Webserver stats are used to understand site usage.

Policy Changes

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes here, so be sure to check back periodically.
